1. How do we know we'll be getting the best photos/clips of our special day?
We are a team of people who LOVE what we do. If you love something with this much passion you dedicate a lot of time, heart and soul into it. We do that every single day. We don't just capture a wedding, we tell a story. A unique story about a couple, their love and a special day that will unite that love forever, that is why every wedding day is different, every photo or clip we capture is different. We take the time to get to know the both of you and the way you envision your big day and how we can capture that vision in the best possible way.
We start by talking to you about what sort of photography style you like. If you do not know yet, we help you out by holding an engagement photography session. At this photo shoot we have a ball, we help you both learn how to relax in front of the camera, we go to a special location to the both of you and show you what sort of photos you may have from your big day.
Seven days after the photo shoot we will meet again in our studio. At this time you will see the photos displayed on a big screen and we will talk about the techniques and what you like from what you see. This will give us a real indication of how to photograph you on your big day. This is also an opportunity to revisit our albums and get know each other even better and discuss any other ideas you may have.
About a month prior to the big day we suggest that we attend your wedding rehearsal familiarize ourselves with the venue, lighting and format of your wedding and we also email you a list of possess, where you can tick the posses that you like and cross the ones that do not apply to you.
7 days before the wedding day we meet for one of our famous coffee sessions, any excuse for coffee!, where we finalize any last minute details, such as the time of the ceremony, whose driving in what car and so one. This is also a great time to fill us in with any traditions that may be a part of your wedding that we may not be aware of. To help us capture it from the best possible angle and timing.

2. What's your Photographic/Filming Style?
Our emphasis is on an unobtrusive photojournalistic approach to tell a story of the day, capturing special moments as they happen. This helps everyone to relax so we can capture those candid moments. The final result using this approach is fantastic. However, your wedding day also presents a perfect opportunity for more traditional group and family shots, so we capture these in a fun and interesting way. We want you to be able to look back at your wedding pictures in 10, 20 years and remember how you felt not just how you looked on your precious day.

3. Do you use 2 video cameras?
Even though our videography packages are quoted on using a single High Definition camera, our videographer uses two cameras for the price of one. We realize in order to tell a story of the day especially during the ceremony and speeches it is essential to use 2 cameras to capture those special moments, ie. mum wiping her eyes during the vows, B & G facial expression during speeches, etc.

4. Do you mic up the Groom?
Yes. We use both a gunshot and wireless microphone. A professional wireless microphone (same as use Media, TV stations) is really effective and convenient. The best thing is that the bride does not need to wear that, because it's powerful enough to pick up the vows of both.

5. How soon do we have to decide whether we will book you?
(We have experienced that a wedding venue has been booked while we were deciding....!)
Our policy is that we are available to the couple who book first regardless of chosen package.
In order to avoid disappointment I would suggest you to book us as soon as possible. Research shows there are approximately 25.000 weddings per year just in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Noosa so it is possible that we could be booked while you are still deciding, especially if your are getting married in peak months. Generally you should book 12 to 18 months in advance. However, do not hesitate to call about your forthcoming wedding that is just around the corner as there may be a last-minute availability, (the couples who booked us had to bring forward or postpone their wedding).

6. Do we have any input in our wedding album design?
When you return from your honeymoon we will arrange a time to meet with you over a cup of coffee (or a glass of champagne) so we can discuss the best layout of your albums and photos. We love to hear your thoughts and ideas with what you desire for your album to look like and of course give you our ideas as well, so that the final outcome will be an album that you will proudly display and look over and over again. Yes, we cooperate with you all the time and we appreciate your input.

7. Do you attend our Wedding Rehearsal?
We would like to attend your wedding rehearsal so that we can familiarize ourselves with the location lighting, the format of your wedding and most importantly to get to know you two a little bit better and your families before your big day. We can also take a few shoots or clips just to give you an idea of how beautiful your images will be. We can include these images/clips in your edited video version or DVD slideshow with your choice of music along with the images/clips taken on the wedding day.

8. Which areas do you cover?
Even though Action Studio is based in Brisbane we cover Toowoomba, Noosa, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast areas too. We do travel nationally & internationally. We DO NOT charge travel fees for weddings in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Noosa, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

9. Do we get a skip menu, chapter selection, and our photo on DVD's?
Your DVD videos/slideshow is fully personalized with your photo on the DVD cover and the menus with chapter selection. We can even include your childhood, engagement shots and make you a photo montage. You can also include closing credits thanking those who have contributed. ie parents, bridal party names. We do not charge extra for this service. This is included in your chosen wedding package.

10. How can I book Action Studio's photographer/videographer?
When you decide that we are the creative team you want to capture your big day we ask that you sign our booking form and put down a non-refundable (but transferable) $500 deposit for each service, to reserve your wedding date. This booking fee will be deducted from your chosen wedding package. The booking fee is transferable, subject to our photographer/videographer availability.

11. Can we pay off our wedding package in installments?
We require a security deposit to be paid at the time of signing the booking agreement.However the remaining balance may be paid in as many installments as you like. But the complete package amount must be paid in full at least one month prior to the wedding. Every time when you make a payment you will get a new invoice with the remaining balance stated.

12. Do you charge extra if we pay off our package in installments?
We understand your position and we do not charge extra for paying in installments unless you pay by Credit Card. If you pay by CC then a 2.5% surcharge fee will apply.

13. Does a video package include a video streaming service?
Sadly, not. A video streaming service is a part of our video extras. It allows for your video highlights to be streamed on our website for 100 days, giving your family & friends the opportunity to view them from all over the world.. For more info, please contact our studio.

14. When can we collect our wedding album/videos/negatives?
COMPLETION SCHEDULE:
-Creating your online web gallery, video highlights and uploading images on Action Studio's web site take 1-2 weeks to deliver.
-DVD videos/DVD slideshow: 3-4 weeks after you supplying music, photos.
-Designer/ Magazine style album:4-6 weeks from time when the CLIENT approved album design.
-A CD with all images taken on the day is delivered along with other wedding stuff, ie albums, videos.

15. I do not need both services. Can I book just a photographer/videographer?
You certainly can, subject to our availability.

16. My wedding is in 12 months. What will happen if you change the prices of your packages?
Regardless of how far in advance you book, the price of your chosen package is guaranteed .

17. I cannot find a suitable wedding package. Can you tailor a package to suit my needs?
Even though we have a few wedding packages to choose from we are still more then happy to listen to your ideas and tailor the package to fully meet your unique needs.

18. Can we supply our own soundtracks to be used in DVD videos, slideshows as background music?
You certainly can. You can even suggest which song you want in a particular wedding part, ie. # song to be used in cutting the cake part.

19. Are you a professional photographer?
Yes absolutely. Brigita Vrebac (senior photographer) is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) as well as a member of the World Instuitute of Photographic Masters (WIMP). Furthermore, Action Studio's Wedding Photography & Videography have been nominated in the nominees and finalist categories at the Australian Bridal Industry Awards (ABIA) Queensland 2008.

20. What if it rains on our wedding day?
That's why we like to make a plan B for all locations. We also carry a huge handy umbrella in our car for those wet and often unexpected occasions. The rain can add a lovely dimension to the photos as long as you both stay under the umbrellas! The most important thing to remember is not to stress about it, we will make it work!

21. Do we have an engagement photo session?
Brigita does an engagement shoot prior to the wedding where she will take a mixture of fun, candid, romantic and posed photos - simply chose the photos you like best. Then our photographer knows the style of photography that suits your personality. Not only it is fun but also it will make you more confident and relaxed on the wedding day.
