1. How do we know we'll be getting the best photos/clips of our special day?
We really care for you and listen what you have to say because as a married couple we know how important this day for you is and we work with you.
a. For your convenience we together make a Photo & Video list including any important people/poses poses of Bride, Groom, Ceremony , Formal Family Photos, Reception, etc. This list can be updated any time prior the wedding and even on your big day.
b. Before your big day we have a pre-wedding consultation time to speak with you in details about what ideas and visions you have for your wedding. We take all this information into account when we shoot your wedding making sure that you get the photos/clips you had envisioned.
c. We attend your ceremony venue or wedding rehearsal (unless it is too far from Brisbane) before the wedding in order to familiarize ourselves with the venue, lighting and format of your wedding.

2. What's your Photographic/Filming Style?
Our emphasis is on an unobtrusive photojournalistic approach to tell a story of the day, capturing special moments as they happen. This helps everyone to relax so we can capture those candid moments. The final result using this approach is fantastic. However, your wedding day also presents a perfect opportunity for more traditional group and family shots, so we capture these in afun and interesting way. We want you to be able to look back at your wedding pictures in 10, 20 years and remember how you felt not just how you looked on your precious day.

3. Do you use 2 video cameras?
Even though our videography packages are quoted on using a single High Definition camera, our videographer uses two cameras for the price of one. We realize in order to tell a story of the day especially during the ceremony and speeches it is essential to use 2 cameras to capture those special mementos, ie. mums wipe eyes during vows, B & G facial expression during speeches, etc.

4. Do you mic up the Groom?
Yes. we use both a gunshot and wireless microphone. A professional wireless microphone (same as use Media, TV stations) is really effective and convenient. The best thing is that the bride does not need to wear that, because it's powerful enough to pick up the vows of both.

5. How soon do we have to decide whether we will book you?
(We have experienced that a wedding venue has been booked while we were deciding....!)
Our policy is that we are available to the couple who book first regardless of chosen package.
In order to avoid disappointment I would suggest you to book us as soon as possible. The research shows there are approximately 25.000 weddings per year just in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Noosa so it is easy that we could be booked while you are still deciding, especially if your are getting married in pick months. Generally you should book 12 to 18 months in advance. However, do not hesitate to call about your forthcoming wedding that is just around the corner as there may be last-minute availability, (the couples who booked us had to bring forward or postponed their wedding)

6. Do we have any inputs in our wedding album design?
Once when you return from your honeymoon we will arrange a time with you to meet over a cup of coffee (or a glass of champagne) so we can discuss the best layout of your albums and photos. We love to hear your thoughts and ideas with what you desire for your album to look like and of course give you our ideas as well, so that the final outcome will be an album that you will proudly display and look over and over again. Yes, we cooperate with you all the time and we appreciate your inputs

7. Do you attend our Wedding Rehearsal?

We would like to attend your wedding rehearsal so that we can familiarize ourselves with the location, lighting the format of your wedding and most important to get to know you two a little bit better and your families before your big day. We can also take a few shoots, clips just to give you an idea how beautiful your images will be. We can include these images/clips in your edited video version or DVD slideshow with your choice of music along with the images/clips taken on the wedding day.

8. Which areas do you cover?

Even though Action Studio is based in Brisbane we cover Toowoomba, Noosa, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast areas too. We do travel nattionally & internationally. We DO NOT charge travel fees for weddings in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Noosa, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

9. Do we get a skip menu, chapter selection, and our photo on DVD's?
Your DVD videos/slideshow is fully personalized with your photo on DVD cover, menus with chapter selection. We can even include your childhood, engagement shots and make your photo montage. You can also include closing credits thanking those who have contributed. ie parents, bridal party names. We do not charge extra for this service. This is included in your chosen wedding package.

10. Do I get discount on a Combined (Photography & Vidography) package?
Yes, if you choose a combined photgraphy album package & video package you will get a $500 voucher to purchase ie. extra album pages, video copies, parent albums, prints, wall portaits, etc.

11. How can I book Action Studio's photographer/videographer?
We require a signed booking form and booking fee of $500 of entire package to reserve the specified coverage. The booking fee is deductable of your chosen wedding package, but is non-refundable. However, the booking fee is transferable, subject to our photographer/videographer availability.

12. Can we pay off our wedding package in installments?
We require a security deposit to be paid at the time of signing the booking agreement. The remaining balance may be paid in many installments you like but payable in full at least one week prior the wedding. Every time when you made a payment you will get a new invoice with the remaining balance.

13. Do you charge extra if we pay off our package in installments?
We understand your position and we do not charge extra for paying in installments unless you pay by Credit Card. If you pay by CC then a 2% surcharge fee will apply.

14. Does a video package include a video streaming service?
Sadly, not. A video streaming service is a part of our video extras. It encompasses your bit longer video highlights streamed on our website for 100 days in a .wmv format. For more info, please contact our studio.

15. When can we collect our wedding album/videos/negatives?
COMPLETION SCHEDULE:
-Creating your online web gallery, video highlights and uploading images on Action Studio's web site take 1-2 weeks to deliver.
-DVD videos/DVD slideshow: 3-4 weeks after you supplying music, photos.
-Designer/ Magazine style album:4-6 weeks from time when the CLIENT approved album design.
-A CD with all images taken on the day is delivered along with other wedding stuff, ie albums, videos.

16. I do not need both services. Can I book just a photographer/videographer?
You certainly can, subject to our availability.

17. My wedding is in 12 months. What will happen if you change the prices of your packages?
We reserve the rights to change packages prices anytime with no notice but once you book us regardless of how far in advance you book, the price of your chosen package is guaranteed .

18. I cannot find a suitable wedding package. Can you tailor a package to suit my needs?
Even though we have a few wedding packages to choose from we are still more then happy to listen to your ideas and tailor the package to fully meet your unique needs.

19. I am on Sunshine Coast/Gold Coast/Toowoomba/Noosa so is there any travel fee involved?
No, we DO NOT charge a travel fee to shoot weddings in Toowoomba, Noosa, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.";

20. Do you travel nationally & internationally to do photography/videography?
Yes, we travel nationally & internationally to shoot weddings. Having an overseas wedding? No worries contact us today to get an obligation free quote. You will be surprised how competitive and affordable our packages are.

21. Can we supply our own soundtracks to be used in DVD videos, slideshows as background music?
You certainly can. You can even suggest which song you want in a particular wedding part, ie. # song to be used in cutting the cake part.

22. Are you a professional photographer?
Yes absolutely. Brigita Vrebac (senior photographer) is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) as well as a member of the World Instuitute of Photographic Masters (WIMP). Furthermore, Action Studio's Wedding Photography & Videography have been nominated in the nominees and finalist categories at the Australian Bridal Industry Awards (ABIA) Queensland 2008.

23. What if it rains on our wedding day?
That's why we like to make a plan B for all locations. We also carry a huge handy umbrella in our car for those wet and often unexpected occasions. The rain can add a lovely dimension to the photos as long as you both stay under the umbrellas! The most important thing to remember is not to stress about it, we will make it work!

24. Do you have an assistant/second shooter?
If you book both Action Studio's (photographer and videographer) for your wedding day then we always have a second shooter with us. She (Lana) has been with Action Studio for a while and she is a great asset to Action Studio. Lana is helping as a second videographer, ie during walking down the isle, speeches, interviews as well as a second photographer (through bride/groom getting ready, locations shoots, reception settings, etc. WE DO NOT charge extra for a second shooter though.

25. Who will be photographing/filming our wedding?
Brigita Vrebac is Action Studio's senior photographer and she photographs all weddings. While Nick Vrebac is a senior videographer and he films all weddings. We are a husband and wife team and we have been in the Wedding industry for over six years and we extremely enjoy what we do. Our Brides and Grooms say our passion is visible through our artwork. We shoot just one wedding per day so we are totally focused and committed to your day, and we will stay as long as you need us.

26. Do we have an engagement session?
Brigita does an engagement shoot prior to the wedding where she will take a mixture of fun, candid, romantic and posed photos - simply chose the photos you like best. Then our photographer knows the style of photography that suits your personality. Not only is it fun but also it will make you more confident and relaxed on the wedding day.
